# Our Tokens

There are six utility tokens in Castle Overlord, each representing the resources inside the game (1 gold and 5 materials). As a blockchain-based game, Castle Overlord doesn’t have any soft currency (a.k.a. non-premium currency). Every resource type is distributed as a cryptocurrency token, and every transaction of those resources is treated as an on-chain transaction.

Below are the names and symbols of Castle Overlord’s tokens:

1. CastleOverlord Gold (**$COGLD**)
2. CastleOverlord RedGem (**$CORED**)
3. CastleOverlord BlackGem (**$COBLK**)
4. CastleOverlord YellowGem (**$COYLW**)
5. CastleOverlord GreenGem (**$COGRN**)
6. CastleOverlord BlueGem (**$COBLU**)
